New for 2022!
We kickoff the 2022 Wisconsin Camaro Rally at Road America's Briggs & Stratton Motorplex. Rather than weaving through a sea of cones on a large parking lot - we are racing on a hilly, narrow, course. The course will be laid out to better suit our high-powered, RWD Camaros! What a site to see... a big burly Camaro weaving on the track. See the Motorplex Track Map.
What's Autocross?? Check this video out from our friends at FVSCC. Here's another video with a different course layout. No experience needed to participate.
Morning Schedule:

9:15 - 9:45am | Instructed course walk-through |
9:45am | Drivers meeting |
10:00am | First set of competitive runs begin! |

5:00pm | Third set ends |
5:30pm | Awards Presentation |
Must register ahead of time. Deadline to register is 7/20.
Your first four runs (which start at 10am) will be your competitive-timed runs (elegable for awards). Once everyone has finished their four timed runs, the autocross track will be opened for timed fun runs for the participants. Even though these runs are timed, they do not count towards the competitive awards.
Awards categories for Camaro competitive classes are sorted by generation of Camaro (1st and 2nd place). Award for fastest time of the day will also be awarded.
We are partnered with Fox Valley Sports Car Club to assist with event structure and regulations. Track day participants are treated to plenty of track time.

8th Cruise to Lake Geneva
Date: Sunday, August 2nd 2020
Cruise Meetup Time: 9:30am (at Cheese Castle)
Cruise Departure Time: 10:30am SHARP
Cruise Start: Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha, WI
Cruise Finish: Lake Geneva Eastview Elementary School Parking Lot
Approx. Arrival Time: 1:30pm
Facebook Event RSVP Link: Here
Overview: This is a cruise hosted by the Chicago 5th Gen / Chicago Next Gen club. Starting line is at Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha. THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM LAST YEAR - We will NOT be meeting at Jelly Belly unlike previous years. Jelly Belly is closed due to COVID, so there's no reason to start the cruise there. Because of this, we will begin meeting at Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha at 9:00/9:30am and will depart for the cruise at 10:30am sharp! Mars Cheese Castle is open (masks are required to enter) and is available for you to stock up on your Wisconsin cheese, sausage, beer, and snacks before we depart for the cruise. We will depart Mars Cheese Castle at 10:30am sharp and cruise to Lake Geneva via country highways and tree lined Rustic Roads while admiring our Wisconsin scenery. Glacial hills and winding roads and a whole bunch of fun are included on the route. We will be traveling at a safe but brisk pace.
There will be two stops on the way to Lake Geneva: First is at Bushnell Park in Burlington for some photo-ops and bathroom break. Second is in Lyons for a fuel stop. Arrival in Lake Geneva is approximately 1:30pm. Approx cruise length is 61 miles.
The end destination is the Lake Geneva Eastview Elementary School Parking Lot. If you would like to join Chicago 5th Gen / Chicago Next Gen club for lunch, they have lunch set up at Gino's East for $19 per adult for non-C5G/CNG members. Details regarding payment can be found on their website: Here.
You are not required to eat with the group. Once we are in Lake Geneva, you are free to explore or eat on your own. You will find me (Andy) at the Geneva Lake Brewing Co.
This is a rain or shine event!
General Rules:
- Always keep a visual of the Camaro in front of you AND behind you. If the Camaro behind you starts to create a larger gap and is driving slower - you need to slow down before they lose sight of you.
- Maintain a safe distance between cars.
- If you have a walkie talkie, maintain regular status updates.
- If the leader of the group must pull off to the side of the road to allow others to catch up, turn on hazard lights, and pull off the road in a safe manner. Once the group is caught up, the last car must pull out into the road first and flash their lights to let the others know it is all clear.
- Drive in a safe and legal manor. Wisconsin Camaro is not responsible for any reckless and/or illegal driving - it is the responsibility of the individual driver.
- Respect the neighborhoods/towns we drive through.
- Lastly... HAVE FUN!!

WI Camaro Spring Cruise 2020
Date: Saturday, June 13th 2020
Meet Time: 10:30am, Roll-out: 11:00am
Cruise Start & Finish: La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway Parking, West Salem, WI
Facebook Event RSVP Link: Here
Overview: "A slice of rolling Bavarian hills and Swiss switchback passes in Wisconsin." -Andy.
This super scenic cruise departs the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway parking lot and heads North to Mindoro, driving the twisty roads through the famous "Mindoro Cut". In Mindoro, we turn West and head to Hwy 53. Once we hit Hwy 53/35 "Great River Road", we continue driving West to Fountain City. In Fountain City, we turn onto Hwy 95 heading North. We drive up the bluffs and come to a rest at Larry's Lookout Restaurant.
Lunch - Larry's Lookout Restaurant. Click on this link to view their menu. The burgers and cheese curds are definitely high on the recommendation! Andy will be taking a head count beforehand to give the restaurant a heads up. They may have some other sandwich specials happening when we arrive. We'll spend approximately 1.5 hours here or until we're ready to leave.
Departing Larry's Lookout, we continue driving on Hwy 95 into Arcadia and make our gas/restroom stop at Kwik Trip on the East side of town. This will be the only gas/rest stop - take advantage of it! (Side note - they do not have 93 Octane, highest is 91.) After Kwik Trip, we continue driving East on Hwy 95 towards Blair. In Blair, we hop onto Hwy 53 and drive South all the way to Galesville. Leaving Galesville, we make a couple left turns and head back East to jump onto Hwy 54.
On Hwy 54, we drive East to Hwy VV which brings us to Burr Oak and Hwy 108. We jump onto Hwy 108 to head South which then leads us back to West Salem.
Route length = 130 miles. Drive time = 3 hrs (not including lunch/gas stops)
Way-points:
- Start Point - La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway Parking (Southeast corner)
- Lunch Stop - Larry's Lookout, Arcadia, WI
- Gas/Restroom Stop - Kwik Trip#413, Arcadia, WI
- Finish Point - Back at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway Parking
Couple Notes:
If your Camaro is tuned for 93 Octane, we recommend filling up your gas tank at BP in Sparta, WI (off of I-90, Exit 28 / Hwy 16). A full tank of gas there will be more than enough to run the full cruise route.
If you're diving a long distance from your home to get to this cruise, please consider getting a local hotel Friday or Saturday night! There will be lots of driving! We don't want anyone to get sleepy driving back home! Make a mini weekend vacation!
General Rules:
